Split-systems

Split-systems consist of indoor unit and outdoor unit. The difference between split-systems lies in variety of indoor unit types. They are wall-type (standard unit), console type (floor-ceiling dual mountable type), cassette type (unit built in a ceiling), and column type (floor-standing unit in the form of a column). Outdoor units are installed on the walls and roofs of the buildings, or at the place where they are reject heat to ambient air. Outdoor units differ depending on system capacity. Indoor unit is installed directly in conditioned room. The units are connected by thin copper tubes in heat-insulation.

The main advantages of split-systems are:
  • low noise level at the account of separation of evaporator and condensing units;
  • a wide variety of indoor units, so you may take into account interior appearance and individual customer demands;
  • simple construction and installation.

Equipment

Window type of air conditioners

A window air conditioner is a single package unit. This kind of air conditioners falls into low-budget systems. Apart from easy installation and convenient service, the special thing about wall systems is a function of fresh air intake.

Wall-type air conditioners

Wall split-systems are one of the most popular types for apartment buildings, as they are characterized by small capacity and comparatively low price.

Floor-ceiling type air conditioners

Split-systems with floor-ceiling indoor units are installed on the wall or ceiling. High capacity of such type air conditioners allows their wide application for cooling single zone spaces and big display areas, where it is possible to direct cold air stream along the wall or ceiling thus ensuring even temperature distribution in a conditioned space.

Cassette split-systems

Cassette split-systems are specially designed for big spaces with false ceiling. They fit in the interior well, and in many cases their usage is the only way to solve the air conditioning problem. Indoor unit is installed in space behind false ceiling so that you can see only decorative panel. The air is taken from space through central grille and distributed in 4 directions through adjustable louvers thus ensuring even air exchange in a conditioned space.

Duct type air conditioners

As a rule, duct type air conditioners are designed for conditioning of several rooms. The main difference of duct type air conditioners is that indoor unit is installed behind false ceiling, and the air is taken and distributed through grilles and ducting system. Duct type air conditioner can also solve the ventilation problem, but this function is restricted by ambient temperatures that need reheat. The main advantage of duct type air conditioning is an even distribution of air stream in conditioned space and comfortable design solution (at the account of concealed mounting).

Multisplit-systems

Multisplit-systems are split-system derivatives designed for conditioning of several neighboring rooms. Multisplit-system air conditioner is a system consisting of one outdoor unit and several indoor units. The modular range of multisplit-systems is designed up to four indoor units, and outdoor unit has several separate circuits. In these systems all the above-mentioned split-system indoor units can be used. The system data match conditioning of several neighboring rooms perfectly. Every indoor unit is independently controlled by its own remote controller.
