Split-systems
Split-systems consist of indoor unit and outdoor unit. The difference between split-systems lies in variety of indoor unit types. They are wall-type (standard unit), console type (floor-ceiling dual mountable type), cassette type (unit built in a ceiling), and column type (floor-standing unit in the form of a column). Outdoor units are installed on the walls and roofs of the buildings, or at the place where they are reject heat to ambient air. Outdoor units differ depending on system capacity. Indoor unit is installed directly in conditioned room. The units are connected by thin copper tubes in heat-insulation.
The main advantages of split-systems are:
- low noise level at the account of separation of evaporator and condensing units;

Multisplit-systems are split-system derivatives designed for conditioning of several neighboring rooms.
